For over 14 years I travelled the world and owned a number of multi million pound businesses in sales and marketing.

In that time I also became a part time property investor and invested heavily in off plan property and new builds.

I decided in 2012 that I wanted to move back to the UK, so started the process of liquidating my property portfolio only to discover I had somehow lost over 2,000,000 euros.

To say I was devastated was an understatement.

In April 2014, I moved back to the UK feeling bruised and deflated.

I realised that in my property journey I never once got educated and I certainly didn’t have a mentor and that was a big mistake.

Being an entrepreneur, I picked myself up and made a promise that moving forward I was going to surround myself with winners and people who had walked the path before me and I was going to learn from them.

In September I was introduced to progressive property and started my mentorship programme with property gurus Rob Moore and Mark Homer.

And over the course of 12 months, with the correct education, guidance and support I have:

Raised over £2,200,000 in Joint Venture finance
– Bought 11 HMOs
– Completed 1 flip
– And we are currently building 7 flats and 2 houses which will give us £350,000 profit

After losing millions, I could never have imagined that I would now be part of a portfolio worth £4.3 million and we are moving onwards and upwards every single day.

My part time interest in property investment led me to make every mistake in the book; buying off plan, picking new builds, choosing from glossy brochures, and in general not putting in the time and energy to really review and consider my deals.

Today, it couldn’t be more different.

I have a wonderful business partner, Jay Munoz, and a fantastic and quickly growing business, Assets For Life.

I am surrounded by great people and opportunities, some of whom I am now able to coach and offer advice to.

I have invested in my education and continue to learn and connect with others who are more experienced.

I have two wonderful mentors who offer much needed support and boost my confidence.

And to top it off, we have recently been recognised in our industry. We came Runner Up for HMO Deal of the Year in the Property Investor Awards and we won the Progressive VIP award!
