A qualified civil engineer, Jay Munoz (BSc (Hons) MSc, CEng, MICE) is highly technical with a great head for numbers; understanding the financial intricacies of investment and making calculated business decisions. He loves a spreadsheet and can often be found developing new systems and procedures to help the business run as smoothly and efficiently as possible. He is also a multiple project direction and delivery expert.
Jay has been a property investor in the UK and overseas for almost a decade, building an impressive portfolio of properties. He has extensive experience in new-build and refurbishment projects ranging from single home refurbs to multi-million pound commercial and residential properties. Jay is experienced at the deal analysis and visibility studies to assess the profitability of a project.
Previously for more than 15 years Jay worked as a project manager, latterly for two main building contractors - Skanska plc and ISG plc. He was in charge of managing several subcontractors and his track record includes work on the delivery of major projects such as Heron Tower (construction cost valued at £250m), The Walbrook (valued at £156m), and other iconic projects in central London. As a senior member of ISG he set up, implemented, and controlled the construction management system to manage and control all temporary and permanent works for the whole company (total turnover £1.5 Billon p.a.) and looked after over £150m worth of construction projects.
A keen sportsman, Jay recently completed the London Marathon for charity and is always on the lookout for new challenges. He’s very family oriented and enjoys spending time with his wife and their young children.
